Food lovers, this one’s for you! 🍽️
For my latest episode of Toledo’s Tastes & Tales, I took a little road trip to Columbus’ North Market, a foodie’s paradise packed with incredible flavors, diverse cuisine, and a vibrant atmosphere. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this spot is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates good food and great vibes.
A Foodie’s Playground
Walking into North Market feels like stepping into an international food festival. From fresh seafood to artisan pastries, global street food to classic comfort eats, every corner has something worth trying.
Here’s what stood out on my visit:
🔥 Destination Donuts – These aren’t your average donuts. The flavors are creative, and the texture is next-level soft. Definitely a must-try if you have a sweet tooth.
🔥 Hot Chicken Takeover – If you like heat, this Nashville-style hot chicken will not disappoint. Crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor!
🔥 Lan Viet Market – If you’re a fan of authentic Vietnamese food, this spot serves up some of the best pho and banh mi sandwiches in the city.
🔥 Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams – A Columbus staple! Their unique flavors always hit the spot, whether you’re in the mood for something rich, creamy, or refreshingly fruity.
Why I Love Exploring Food Markets
Food markets like North Market bring people together. They showcase local entrepreneurs, small businesses, and diverse culinary traditions, all in one space. Every vendor has a story, and that’s what makes these experiences so special.
As much as I love putting Toledo’s food scene on the map, I also enjoy venturing out to see what other cities have to offer. Columbus did not disappoint!
